We’re Hatz AI… But You Can Call Us Hatz

Why We Refreshed
Today we are refreshing our brand with a new look and a new website. Aside from making everything a little prettier, we wanted a brand and website that more accurately reflects what Hatz does and gives our growing partner network more support as they build and grow their AI practices.
We moved fast from idea to product to market, and our original brand moved fast with us. In that time, more than 400 MSPs around the world adopted Hatz to deliver AI to their customers. They’ve won net-new logos, expanded existing relationships, hired AI talent, and built new service lines, all on top of that first, scrappy brand. It’s time our look and site matched the scale and maturity of what our partners deliver every day.
Why We Partner
When we launched Hatz, we bet SMBs would need help adopting AI. We had been through technology megatrends before and saw the demand explode for cybersecurity firsthand. We knew businesses would need help from people who know their business intimately. We also knew that widespread adoption would be a difficult task to achieve without some help.
We were faced with two options, hire a massive services team or partner. Working with MSPs is something my co-founder Aidan Kehoe and I knew well. We understood what it meant to be a good partner and the kind of support and product nuances MSPs needed to succeed. We decided partnership was the best path forward and I am very glad we did.
We know AI. Every day we live and breathe it. We are always testing the newest technology- vetting the security, functionality, and use cases. We are good at teaching AI too, but the last mile of delivery is a hidden challenge for AI adoption.
AI adoption requires trust. It requires trust in the technology and trust in the people managing the technology. It also requires work, trial and error, and patience. These are all things MSPs know extremely well. MSPs are also uniquely skilled at learning and managing new technology. If a small or mid-sized business is seeking assistance with their AI adoption, there is no one better positioned to manage the initial roll out and ongoing adoption than an MSP.
At Hatz we recognize we are in the training and enabling business, while our partners are customer facing AI wizards making magic happen for their customers. Sure, if a partner is in a jam, we’re happy to jump in and help, but the real credit for a business’ AI adoption goes to their MSP, not us.
Our Recent Learnings
Over the past six months I’ve started to see a few different things happening that influenced our decision to change our look. The first is MSPs started signing up net-new logos as “Managed AI Only” customers. I’ve been working with MSPs for a while, and this is not something that is typically part of the conversation in partnerships. These “Managed AI Only” customers became natural fits for other types of MSP services and have become a funnel for MSPs to win new logos and eventually expand their core MSP services into.
While this was happening, we also started to notice many of our partners could do a much better job servicing end customers than we could as Hatz alone. They knew project management extremely well. They had people who could take onboarding meetings. They knew the nuances of the niches they worked with.
Most of our partners are very forward about working with us. We go through security due diligence together and we will often join calls with new or existing customers to walk them through more complex AI technology questions.
Through all of this, there was sometimes a sense of confusion for the end customers as our web presence was very targeted towards MSPs. We also noticed people did not care about what features the products had as much as they cared about the problems it solved for them.
Who We Are
We are Hatz AI, but you can call us Hatz. We think the “AI part” is a bit redundant these days, as AI is just about everywhere. We make AI products for small businesses that integrate with their existing tools and workflows. We currently offer over 30 different integrations (like Salesforce and Hubspot) and have an AI chat, workflows, agents, and phone systems powered by all the top AI models. We have a global service delivery network of technology services companies who specialize in AI adoption and are certified to manage and sell our products.
Our new website is designed to focus on that reality. We now show off our product features through use cases. The verbiage related to partnership, along with the rest of the site content, is much more focused to address the questions that come up from end customers.
Our Commitment to Partners
We are still committed to the MSP community. Nothing has changed there. We are partner first in everything we do. With our new website, we hope to accelerate partner referrals and speed up AI Adoption with MSP end-customers and prospects. Everything we do is still multi-tenant and security first.
In addition to the cosmetic changes applied with the new website, we are also rolling out additional supports for our partners. This includes new packages for rapid adoption, additional training supports, a revamped admin dashboard, better analytics, and additional human resources to partners as they scale their AI business. Some of these have already been announced, and others we will roll out over the next couple of months.
I’m eternally grateful for the MSP partners who have made our success a reality. It’s a lot of fun helping such a diverse set of businesses all over the world adopt AI, and getting to work with their MSP partners every day makes it even better. There is no way we would be able to help so many companies without the MSP community.
