To solve this, we built an AI-powered automation using Make.com and Hatz.ai that makes leaving a review effortless.

Turning Positive Feedback into Public Reviews

Before automation, our process for requesting Google reviews was manual, inconsistent, and time-consuming. Clients were happy with our service, but we weren’t leveraging their feedback to strengthen our online reputation.

We needed a scalable, automated way to:

• Identify satisfied clients from Smileback reviews
• Craft personalized Google reviews for them
• Make it as easy as possible for them to leave a review
• Incentivize participation with a Starbucks gift card

1. ‍Smileback Review Check: The automation scans for new positive feedback in Smileback.io.
2. Data Enrichment: It pulls ticket details (title, description, notes) from Autotask.
3. AI-Powered Summary:  The information is sent to a Hatz.ai application, which summarizes the issue and resolution.
4. AI-Written Review: The enriched details are passed to another Hatz.ai app, which generates a professional, AI-written Google review.
5. Personalized Email to the Client: An HTML-formatted email is sent to the client, containing:
   • The AI-generated review (so they can just copy & paste)
   • A direct Google Review link
   • A Starbucks gift card offer in exchange for submitting a review
6. Tracking & Follow-Ups: If the client submits a review and sends a screenshot, we mark them as completed in Airtable, preventing further emails.
